We now have 22 schools across 4 countries (Hong Kong, Dubai, India and the UK) and almost 400 employees and growing!

This role

We are at an exciting time of our journey and now require an early years Recruiter to be based in London. You will report to the Head of People and Talent, also based in London.

Our Recruiter will lead talent attraction and resourcing activities in the UK making sure that we have the right people in our schools and teams in the UK, as well as building our people brand and positioning Safari Kid as the employer of choice in this sector. The People Team are obsessed with our employee’s experience and this role will be the gate keeper to the Safari Kid culture that we’re creating and embodying.


As our Recruiter you will be the face and voice of Safari Kid for all things career related. This means you will need to be fantastic at customer service in order to ensure that everyone who applies for, or even considers applying for a position with us has a brilliant and meaningful experience. The role is likely to evolve over time but will certainly include:

Taking ownership for our people social media handles in the UK

Conducting all initial screening, phone interviews and arranging/supporting school interviews

Collaborate with our Regional Manager and Nursery Managers to identify required qualification levels and team fit

Create exciting job descriptions that articulate the Safari Kid culture and vision

Developing compelling and engaging marketing material alongside our Head of People UK and Marketing

Ensuring that we have a consistent, professional and friendly tone of voice across all touch points with candidates

Responsible for attracting, assessing and hiring for all UK school vacancies

Evaluating our talent process so that we always adhere to our Safer Recruitment Policy

Deliver training and support to our school teams to improve interview skills and assessment

Ensure that the candidate is always at the heart of what we do

Support with on-boarding and induction to make sure that transition into working with us is smooth, easy and consistent

Work with our ATS/HCM solution to make sure that we have accurate and reportable data and analytics

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of working within the early years sector

Demonstrable experience within recruitment

Excellent communication skills, verbally and written

Strong sales skills, ability to sell our culture and opportunities

The ability to juggle multiple open roles and prioritise efficiently

Exceptional organisation skills

Strong decision-making skills

An adaptable and open-minded outlook

A creative attitude and extremely strong attention to detail
